The state is situated at the northwestern Zulia Venezuela. Bordered on the north by the Caribbean Sea, on the east with the states of Falcón, Lara and Trujillo, on the south to Merida and Tachira, and west by the Republic of Colombia Capital: Maracaibo, a city in northwestern Venezuela.
Its climate is semiarid with an average temperature of 27.8 º C. It is the second largest city in Venezuela and economic center, administrative, cultural and service almost all the plains and foothills surrounding Lake Maracaibo.
Falcon, Venezuela
Falcon state belongs to Coriano system and is located in northwestern Venezuela, and its limits, the north by the Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Venezuela, south to the states of Zulia, Lara and Yaracuy, the east by the Caribbean Sea and west to the Gulf of Venezuela and the state of Zulia. Its capital is the city of Coro.
Falcon can not talk about without mentioning the importance of landscapes and beaches of the state, Paraguaná especially around Park Morrocoy is developing a tourism industry that eventually could be placed in leading positions not only in the country, but throughout the Caribbean.
